Let's ban how-to-vote cards

Last parliamentary sitting week I was able to get my ban on election corflute posters passed (after years of trying!) Now I've turned my attention to how-to-vote cards. Handing these out at voting places is unnecessary, wasteful and people hate being hassled as they 'run the gauntlet' on their way to vote. There are plenty of other ways to work out who to vote for and it's time to respect the fact that most people have made up their minds long before they turn up to vote, with a heap of leaflets being thrust in their faces the last thing they want! Today I unveiled legislation to rid South Australia of how-to-vote cards at voting places.
