Touring BioBag World

BioBag World Australia, based in Adelaide's western suburbs, melts down a bio-plastic material to create compostable produce bags, caddy liners and bin liners to help divert organic waste from landfill.

I was honoured to give BioBags a grant to kickstart their operations back in 2019 when I was South Australia's Environment Minister, and it has been great to keep in touch with Director, Scott Morton, about all the new investments he has been making to continue being a leader in this important innovative space, both in South Australia and across the country.

You'll find BioBags in fruit and vegetable sections of many local supermarkets, council dog waste bag dispensers and on shelves for use in your home food waste bins.
