The Governor's Multicultural Awards

Modern South Australia is a vibrant melting pot of many cultures. The Governor of South Australia's Multicultural Awards celebrate people who have come to Australia recently (and not so recently!) and have thrown themselves into life here, investing in community wellbeing and forging cross-cultural understanding. ⁣⁣

Particular congratulations to Ukrainian migrant Mr Volodymyr (Wally) Tkachuk who received an Outstanding Individual Achievement Award. At 93 Mr Tkachuk has contributed to life in South Australia since his arrival here in 1949.
