WATCH: Food producers across South Australia have been hit hard by last weekend’s summer storms.
During the week I visited cherry growers in the Adelaide Hills who have been particularly devastated, with some losing their entire season’s crop.
I’m urging Peter Malinauskas to visit these producers to see firsthand the impacts of this damage and then commit to a state government support package.
This could be direct financial assistance or a specific marketing campaign to encourage the public to support South Australian growers this season.
