We’re building a shellfish reef off the coast of Glenelg! 1 million native oysters will be seeded in the artificial reef around the size of Adelaide Oval! This is such an exciting initiative ticking so many boxes: - Creating habitat for marine life to grow and thrive - Purifying the water - each oyster will filter a bathtub of water a day! - Stabilising the seabed and preventing coastal erosion - Proving an opportunity for people to learn about our precious marine life. I will keep you updated as this project progresses! Stephen Patterson - Member for Morphett The Nature Conservancy Australia City of Holdfast Bay
