National Recycling Week - meet Sunshine!

Meet Sunshine! 🌞

Made of recycled materials, Sunshine (a puppet) teaches kindy kids about the four R’s – refuse, reduce, reuse and recycle, through her own story book and a live show.

Sunshine was created by Chelsea (a human) as part of a Youth Environment Council project, and is just one of the awesome initiatives shared by young environmental leaders from across the state at the Youth Environment Council’s expo at Cleland.

The commitment and potential of these students is outstanding (some traveled 8 hours to be there!) and I look forward to seeing where this passion takes them.
