Listening to the community at Adelaide Aquatic Centre

It was great to spend Saturday morning at the Adelaide Aquatic Centre with my colleague, Jing Lee, MLC, and passionate locals, Julian and Vernon. Unfortunately, the SA Labor Government has decided to close the Aquatic Centre in North Adelaide until the new one is built, which means no kids swimming lessons, hydrotherapy services or recreational use of the pools for the foreseeable future. This is so disappointing, and goes completely against promises made by Peter Malinauskas and Member for Adelaide, Lucy Hood. Over 1,000 people have signed a petition to keep the Adelaide Aquatic Centre open while the new one is being built. Let's hope Peter Malinauskas listens to what the community wants.
