Regular watchers of my socials might have picked up that I’m not a fan of corflute posters (especially ones with my face on them!). Since 2020 I’ve been pushing laws in the Parliament that would see them banned on public infrastructure (I have no issue with front yard signs being displayed, that’s free speech). Now with the Voice referendum upon us, these posters are appearing along highways and streets in South Australia again. This doesn’t happen in other states and it shouldn’t happen here. My proposed laws are before Parliament and today, once again, Labor voted to adjourn them, kicking a decision down the road. Let’s ban these things once and for all. They’re a distraction, they’re mostly single use, and we just don’t need them.
