Labor must support stranded Felmeri homeowners going through hell

Dozens of homeowners in South Australia have been left in limbo following the collapse of construction company Felmeri Homes. At O’Halloran Hill the situation is particularly unique and problematic as their homes are marooned with no access road built.

I am calling on the state government and the local council to help affected homeowners with financial relief by waiving a range of fees and charges they are currently paying including SA Water rates, Emergency Services Levy and Strata fees.

This is an incredibly unfortunate situation and we need to be doing all we can to support those homeowners who have been left with these partially finished properties.
