As well as being a representative, I also have the role of legislator. Today I introduced the Landscape SA Bill into the South Australian parliament. This represents a great milestone after a huge body of work from the Department for Environment and Water and deep engagement with local communities right across the state, food producers, conservation organisations and the business sector. This is a fantastic step towards an election commitment to reform natural resources management in South Australia. I’ll keep you updated as this important reform progresses.
(Thanks to Peter Treloar MP, Member for Flinders for being the seconder on the Bill!)
