South Australia's History Festival event at Glenthorne

Today I attended a South Australia's History Festival event at Glenthorne where I met Jane, the great granddaughter of the second owners of Glenthorne (the Porter family). Jane donated a palm tree 🌴which we planted this afternoon at the spot where a palm used to stand proudly outside the grand Glenthorne House (sadly destroyed by fire many years ago). So good to hear stories of this special place and imagine its future as a national park.
