Allegations of intimidation in our hospitals

Today Shadow Health Minister, Ashton Hurn MP and I called on the Labor Government to release a review into shocking allegations that clinicians are being “intimidated” into treating ambulance arrivals ahead of more urgent cases in our EDs.

It’s claimed these tactics are being used to try and reduce ramping hours and that patients have even died as a result.

South Australians deserve reassurance that when they arrive at our emergency departments they’ll be properly cared for and treated in order of greatest need.
