Violent crime rates in our CBD

Violent crime rates are skyrocketing in our CBD and more needs to be done to curb this unacceptable behaviour. Today I stood with Sam Telfer, Shadow Minister for Police, Corrections and Community Safety, to raise awareness of this public safety issue and call on the Malinauskas Labor government to immediately implement a strategy to address this increase in violence.This increase in crime is also prompting some CBD traders to reconsider whether they move their business elsewhere, which would have a huge impact on our local economy.
