This Anzac Day will be like none we’ve experienced before. Yet the opportunity to reflect on sacrifice and commemorate those who have fought and fallen on our behalf is as important as ever.
One of the great privileges of my role is to give an annual Anzac address. Although it isn’t possible to attend dawn services this year, I’ve recorded last year’s speech ‘Pink Telegrams’. I hope it gives you the opportunity to think about the futility, horror and anguish of war.
