Hosting a GP roundtable

Today Shadow Health Minister Ashton Hurn and I hosted a roundtable discussion with doctors about the Malinauskas Labor Government’s proposed new GP patient tax. This new tax will potentially:
- Force doctors to raise fees or even close their practices
- Drive more people to our already stretched emergency departments
- Make ambulance ramping worse
This is inexplicable during a health and a cost of living crisis.
