A tribute to Cr Carol Bouwens

Carol Bouwens meant a lot to me. She served on City of Marion Council between 1997 and 2014, meaning we were on council together during Carol’s final term. ⁣⁣⁣⁣Carol was the consummate community servant, tirelessly working to improve the Marion community and advancing so much important work. ⁣⁣⁣⁣Today we unveiled a park bench in George Street Reserve, Marion. A beautiful spot surrounded by soaring gums and looking onto the play equipment. A fitting tribute to a wonderful lady.⁣⁣
