A health system in crisis

South Australia’s health system is experiencing an unprecedented crisis with record ramping, claims patients have died in our EDs due to political interference, and the heartbreaking death of a man who died waiting 10 hours for an ambulance.

Today, Shadow Health Minister Ashton Hurn MP and I called on Peter Malinauskas to front up and address these failures and take leadership by sacking his Health Minister.

Peter Malinauskas promised South Australians he would “fix ramping” but it's never been worse and it's costing South Australian lives. Before the election, health was the Premier's number one priority but since then it seems he's far interested in sport and celebrities. South Australians deserve better.
