Vale Wally

I’m saddened to hear of the passing of Volodymyr “Wally” Tkachuk. Wally became an active member of the South Australian community from the moment he arrived as a migrant from Ukraine in January 1930. He gave so much of his life to support the Ukrainian community in South Australia. In March this year, Wally received his award as the winner of the 2022 Governor’s Multicultural Award for outstanding individual achievement, honouring him for all he has done throughout his life.Vale, Wally.
