Hope Valley Reservoir open for recreation

Hope Valley Reservoir WILL be opened for recreation. The Marshall Liberal government is opening reservoirs right across South Australia for public access. The response to opening of the first of these in Myponga has been phenomenal and despite what The Advertiser is running this morning, Hope Valley is on track to be opened as planned. We know there is huge excitement around our policy given the reservoirs remained locked up under the previous government. As with all of the openings, our health experts are ensuring that maintaining our water quality is at the forefront of our planning.

Opening these reservoirs will allow South Australians access to the most beautiful parts of our state that have previously been locked up, providing massive benefits for the people living in the local community as well as local businesses. I'll bring you updates as we progress the opening of reservoirs right across the state.
