They finished up surveying known koala sites last week and will be sending the raw data to QUT (Queensland University of Technology) to analyse. They’ll have a final count in a few weeks and I’ll let you know the results! Koalas were just one of the native species affected by the Kangaroo Island bushfires. It will be great to see them returning in numbers.
