Glenthorne Action Group holds first event

Last weekend I dropped in to say hello and thank the volunteers at the Glenthorne Action Group’s first event, at O’Halloran Hill. I love talking to dedicated volunteers, hearing how passionate they are and seeing the great work they do to for our local environment.
🌱
It was ideal weather to be out and about, and the local birds thought so too – with 29 different species sighted on the birdwatching tour! The next planting day for the precinct is this weekend at Marino Conservation Park, home of not only a great example of rare remnant coastal heathland, but also the famous Marino lighthouse!
