Fixing regional roads

Regional roads drive so much of our state's economic activity (literally!)Since becoming the Leader of the state Liberal party 11 months ago, I've been on 28 regional trips, and on almost every occasion, regional road quality is raised as a concern. And take a look at the terrible state of this road. I met with Robertstown locals Sharon and John to see first hand the disrepair of the road opposite the local store. It's not acceptable.

While the previous Liberal government invested record amounts into regional roads, Labor's legacy of regional road neglect remains a problem for so many communities.Together with local MP Penny Pratt, I'll be calling on the government to prioritise a long term solution to fix Commercial Street in Robertstown. Road conditions such as this would not be tolerated in suburban Adelaide, regional townships are no different.
