David and Goliath: UK trip demonstrates AUKUS opportunities

Goliath is the biggest crane in the UK! Standing beneath this epic structure at the Babcock facility at the Rosyth Dockyard was as impressive as the work that it does to keep this dockyard moving. It can lift 1,000 tonnes - to put that into perspective, an average car weighs about 1.5 tonnes.

My recent trip to the UK was a great opportunity to see the shipbuilding operation firsthand and learn about the opportunities that are ready for us to grasp, as well as the challenges we will inevitably face as the AUKUS defence agreement rolls out.
