Cleland Wildlife park - koalas from Kangaroo Island

More koalas have been relocated to Cleland Wildlife Park from Kangaroo Island in an effort to create a disease-free insurance population.

🐨 It was very heartwarming releasing this mother and her joey (called Kanga and Roo 😝) into the new enclosure, specially built by members of the Australian Defence Force’s Woodside Barracks. 🐨

Of course, bushfire recovery will take time, but it’s initiatives like these that show me we’re on the right track.
