Attending the ATSA Independent Living Expo

Today I stopped by the Assistive Technology Suppliers Australia ATSA Independent Living Expo at the Adelaide Show Grounds with Shadow Minister for Communities, Disabilities and Youth, Heidi Girolamo MLC. It was an excellent opportunity to meet with South Australians living with disabilities as well as advocates and suppliers in this space. It was both fascinating and encouraging to see some of the innovative new technologies that are empowering those with disabilities to live more independently and comfortably. I was also able to discuss policy and learn more about how our government can better support this important sector.
